Final post for 2017.

Today is the last day with my chromebook at school but just for 2017. I have had a crazy year this year with two camps in one year first one was year five and six camp the second one was year six camp.

I feel that I learnt something this year and something was algebra I learnt a bit of it.

Next year I am looking forward to being with my friends in the year 7 & 8 area.

Have you ever played an instrument before?

On the 16th of October 2017 was the first day of Term 4 for Point England School at 9:30 am we started the assembly which It was called Musical Madness. For Team 1,Team 2,Team 3,Team4 and Team 5 I was really looking forward to it to see what the other teachers have done.

Out theme for this term is Musical Madness. It is all about Music and instruments. For Team 1 they said that they are going to be teaching that a every different song is a different feeling. Team 2 said that they were going to be add there own music into another song to make there own song. Team 3 said that they are going to be doing add music to what they say and to make a sentence out of music. Team 5 are going to be watching movies and music to be see it they are scared of happy.

Team four’s Topic is creating their own music and creating their own instruments. Team four teachers made a movies of instead of apple music they changed it to Point England music with the Pt england logo. They were cruising in a car listening to lots of different music tracks. Each different song there was a different team four teacher driving some time there was only 3 teachers in the car. They would also release their feelings inside of there body to each song like if it was an emotional song they will be emotional and if it was a funny song they would laugh but they were pretending with their emotions.

Im am really hoping what we could learn how to play some instruments. And make my own songs on garageband. I really want to learn how to be the best at piano and guitar. And learn how to play lots of song on a instrument

What i think about the new term theme overall is that we get to make music and instruments. I like that they called it musical madness cause we are going mad of all the music that is playing. Hope you enjoyed my recount Leave a comment on my blog to get intact Bye.

Task Description: Mr Goodwin gave us a task to complete. We had to fill in the space of our solar system from planet to planet.

Arthur Space Narrative

One day in the year 4017 the earth scientists were taking samples of the earth and found that it is polluted and that we are running out of resources. So they found me and my brother and told us if we can go out to space to look for another planet. We accepted. On our way into space we saw so many planets to pick.

We weren't paying attention to the space in front of us we were paying attention to the planets. When we looked forward we saw an asteroid coming right for us. We tried to turn as fast as we could and as we were turning the asteroid hit the side of the ship and I spun us out. As we were crashing out of nowhere a dark planet apes. When we were crashing we noticed that the planet was full of green trees and plant and wildlife and the darkness was just the clouds. When we were on the ground we thought to ourselves and said “how are we supposed to get back home?”

Me and my brother were stranded on the planet looking for something to eat after a while we found some fruit and I grabbed it and was going to eat it than my brother said “wait you don't know if there is oxygen on this planet” so I solely took off my space helmet and took a big breath and in excitement I said “YES!! There is oxygen” so my brother took of his helmet and he said “I think we found the planet we were looking for”. We looked around for what we could use to fix our spaceship. While we were looking we saw heaps of resources to fix our spaceship.

We gathered them up and repaired our spaceship. But before we went back to earth we had a look around. There was plenty of water and trees and there was oxygen. Me and my brother didn’t know if the planet had  name so we forget that we could name it since we found it. We were thinking of name than my brother said “ we should call it Gerith so it is growing Earth” and I said “ sure”. We hopped into our spaceship and on our way back to earth.

When we arrived back to earth people were waiting for our arrival when they saw us they were yelling and screaming of happiness when we landed on the ground me and my brother told them “WE FOUND A PLANET” They were crying in happiness. 324 days later we managed to get half of the planet on earth to the planet Gerith and both of the planets became a better place and not as plotted and Earth was not dying. The End

Arthur Immersion Assembly

Today at Immersion Assembly our school found out that our school topic is “Now that’s thinking”. In our school there are teams there is Team 1-5. Where team 4 the best team in the school.

As i said that our school topic is Now that’s thinking.Team 1-3 is learning about kite’s and some extra things. The xtra this is about Manaiakalani and other movies and Presentations.Team 5 is learning about fixing things and how to make their space better. We also saw Mr Burt talk about how google has done a lot of things for us and he showed our school all of the computers we had in the past all thanks to google.

Team 4’s topic was about thinking into the past and thinking about what kind of Technology did the Maori use befor Pakeha came to New Zealand. This is quite interesting cause our Team created a movie and it’s quite interesting.

Our teachers were sitting in the library and thinking about what we are going to learn about so they looked through books and saw a lot of olden day stuff. So they thought about what did the Maori use be for Pakeha came to New Zealand. About 250 years ago the teachers was amazed what kind of things that they found in the book. Back in the day there phones and to connect to the WI-FI and it made a terrible so

I hope we learn more about Technology and coding and how to use robots. Mr somevie told us that we might make our own Technology and use robot’s and sphero. I am also hoping that before Pakeha came ‘to New Zealand what did the Maori’s eat and how did they cook their food.

What I think about the new term is cool I think that we are going to do awesome stuff. I hope next term will be even better.

ArthurProus vs Venemot Spider

Once upon a time there was one really hungry spider called the Venemot Spider very venomous but harmful to humans. It was looking for something to eat. After 20 minutes the spider finally found a bug and i was called the ArthurProus .

The spider didn't know that the ArthurProus has wings to fly away so when it went close to the ArthurProus flew away and so the spider had to search again. 1 hour 27 minutes later the spider found sight of the ArthurProus and tried to hunt it again.

When it got close to it jumped on it and got it and kill it in seconds. But than a human stood in them and killed them all ha ha.

What I am exsited about camp

Hi my name is Arthur and this is what i am most exsited about camp.

What I am exsited about camp is that on the last day of camp we are going to a really cool swimming pool and I have never been there befor. Another thing that i am exsited about we do a lot of random stuff.
